This book is the result of waking up from an idyllic dream. America is a great nation, but it still has a past of violence and bloodshed against minorities and colored people. Racism did not go extinct; it only changed names and continues to haunt our nation. With the recent polarity in the country, it is high time that we learn to beat our demons and become united as a people, as Americans. It is not just about speaking up. We have to heal and understand each other. Only love can end the cycle of pain and suffering that was started generations ago.
