This is a hand painted locked journal on a fire brick (that does not open). All your secrets are locked within!
3D bronze embellishments adorn four corners and the center of the cover. A gold 1/2 pearl is in the middle of the cover. An antique look bronze lock is glued on. Extra care is needed for the embellishments. Liquid gilded gold lines on the spine. Distressed look to add age.
All six sides are painted.
Sealed with gloss varnish to help preserve the art. Please keep in mind that this is a brick and some areas are porous.
Measures 9 inches x 4 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches. This is larger than an ordinary brick. And it does stand on its own.
